Correct me if I’m wrong (I haven’t studied Buddhism, but I am struck by it) that the Buddha’s “smile of infinite compassion” is the empathy with the suffering of the world, and the recognition of the beauty of the Oneness of all things.

I have moments, which quickly slip away.
