- Gratitude Watch is an eye on the internet for news, articles, videos, and other items, all focusing on the subject of gratitude. For more on my intent on these postings, see About Gratitude Watch.
- So … let’s rock!
• Something Visual •
Jo Englesson, member of my “League of Gratitude,” founder of TOFA (“Token OF Appreciation”) — and Twitter user @JoEnglesson — gives us “Giving Year PARODY.” Jo pokes some fun at her TOFA project in a two-way interview with herself. (I do wonder, if in doing this, she wound up beside herself.)
•
Gary Shunk at Gratitude List – Reflections on the Mystery of Life gives us “Gratitude List ….” a sedate monologue that shares an appreciation of the power in using gratitude lists to help refocus us in our lives.
•
YouTube user Spaceisneat gives us “Gratitude,” a quiet meditation on gratitude accompanied by a pretty sunset and some surprisingly captivating ambient music that sneaks up on us.
• (The Rest of) the “League of Gratitude” •
Brenda Arnall at It’s a New Day gives us “I Love A Rainy Night,” an acknowledgement of the soothing patter of gentle rain. Brenda also shares the latest installment of her 52 Blessings gratitude journal craft project.
• This is The New Stuff •
Kathy Howe (Twitter user @kazoofus) at Kazoofus.com gives us “The OTHER Gratitude List,” showing that gratitude can be funny, too. This is a response to her original “Gratitude List,” which apparently was just too blasted Oprah-esque.
•
From Vancouver, B.C.: Gratitude Week to end homelessness, the official site of a series of events to take place in October of this year to help provide meaningful shelter to the city’s 2600 homeless.
Thanks to National Politick for pointing me to Gratitude Week.
•
Akemi Gaines (Twitter user @akemigaines) at Yes to Me gives us her retrospective appreciation of last month in “Online Gratitude Journal July 2009 Edition #31″
•
Amy at Face-to-Face Ministries gives us “Gratitude,” some Christian-flavored reflections on being grateful for America, based on her experiences overseas in overtly corrupt surroundings.
•
Steve Broadway at bigdaddystevieB gives us a moment we can all relate to in “Gratitude+Guilt.”
•
From The Talking Book Store, “5 Tips On Starting A Gratitude Journal” — and some very good ones, at that.
•
Stay tuned for the next Gratitude Watch.
